Will of Margaret Clague alias Brew – 1797 – Lonan

The Last Will and Testament of Margret Claigue als [Brew] of the Parish of KK Lonan who tho being sick was of sound memory at the mak’g hereof and died on the 29th of March 1797

First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial

Secondly she left and bequeathed unto her three Daughters Elinor Mary & Cathrine wearing apparel to be equally devided among them Thirdly and lastly she nominated constituted and appointed her loving husband John Claigue sole and whole executor of all the rest of her Goods and effects of what nature soever both movable and immovable this 7th of April 1797

At a Chapter court holden at Douglas June 20th 1797 The Exor is sworn in court in form of law & hath given pledges for the payment of Debts & Llgacies namely the witnesses of the will
